AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development’s (JOHUD) goodwill campaign, during last week, offered urgent aid to several underprivileged families residing in extremely cold regions.

The gesture is part of an annual winter campaign, implemented in cooperation with partners through the Princess Basma Centres for Development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The activities included the distribution of 900 parcels of winter clothes, 500 parcels of foodstuffs and 200 winter blankets, in addition to 100 fuel coupons, carpets and heaters. To alleviate the loads of the targeted families, the campaign will continue assistance provision in the upcoming days.
