The Public Authority for Manpower Register (PAMR), represented by Dr. Younis Bin Khalfan Alakhzami, CEO of PAMR, and the Information Technology Authority (ITA), represented by DR. Salim Bin Sultan Alruzaiqi, CEO of ITA, signed an agreement for the implementation of the national integrated manpower register system, with CrimsonLogiccompany which will carry out the technical deliverables of this project.
On this occasion, DR. Younis Bin Khalfan Alakhzami, CEO of PAMR , says "this project aims at providing a direct link between all government agencies which own and manage Manpower data across the sultanate as well as establishing a common database for manpower in the sultanate through whicheducation, training and recruiting organizations can get manpower related information directly. The national integrated Manpower register system will enable Omani job seekers to explore the available job opportunities either in the governmentor private sector, besidesfacilitatejob applications processes and procedures. It will also provide adequate information on local job marketrequirements so that concerned agenciescan use to develop and setemployment plans and policies."He also urged the concerned government agencies to update their manpower databases and to make sure their readiness to be connected with the national integrated manpower register system and to use the national ID number in all their systems and processes. He further thanks the information technology Authority for its efforts in this national projects and other projects in driving the implementation of e.oman strategy.
From his side, DR. Salim Bin Sultan Alruzaiqi, states "we are pleased with the signage of this agreement because it will serve a wide and important segment of the society. it is also an essential milestonein the implementation of eTransformation plan adopted by ITA, as it will help transform processes and procedures from manual into electronic and abandoning the use of papers and printed documents in recruitment related processes and procedures and in other eGovernment services. we, at ITA, will spare no effort to facilitate the completion of this project successfully through following-up, support, guidance and consultation.
