The instant messaging app, WhatsApp began rolling out its 'Sticker Packs' last week and the feature has finally been updated on most Android and iOS users.

Stickers make conversations easy as we rarely type out full-text messages if stickers and emojis can convey them.

While stickers have become a point of conversation on online platforms, some WhatsApp users haven't got their hands on the update yet.

If you haven't got stickers on your WhatsApp, here are five easy steps to get them:

1. Update your WhatsApp to the latest version. Go to your Android's play store or Apple's App Store to update your latest version. You need to have WhatsApp version 2.18 or above to receive the stickers feature on your handset.

2. Once updated, tap the emoji button and then click on the button next to the GIF icon.

3. WhatsApp has rolled out a pack of 13 popular stickers like Cuppy, Salty, Komo, The Maladroits, Fearless and Fabulous, Biscuit and more.

4. If these aren't enough and you want more, tap the plus icon and click on 'Get more stickers'. You will be led to App Store to check the list of supported sticker packs for your handset. You can browse through a list of paid and free stickers from the list. You can also delete the stickers you no longer find appealing.

5. The sticker section has three main icons - clock, star and heart. The clock icon shows recently users stickers, the star icon marks your favorites and heart further subdivided into four categories.
