WETEX 2020 and Dubai Solar Show's Innovation Hall hosts leading global companies

Dubai, UAE: The virtual Innovation Hall at the 22nd Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and the 5th Dubai Solar Show, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), will host major international companies such as Dell, EDF Group, Itron, Sharp, Jumbo Electronics, Gama Security Systems, and NAFFCO. The exhibitors will present the latest innovative IT services and solutions; HVAC & MEP maintenance; firefighting solutions; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; production, distribution and transmission of nuclear, renewable and thermal energy; and office equipment.

DEWA uses the latest smart and advanced technologies to provide a new experience that simulates reality during the two 3D exhibitions, for visitors and exhibitors from all over the world to participate through a virtual online platform without the need to travel. The two exhibitions include four halls: Innovation, Sustainability, Energy, and Water; where exhibitors, officials, decision-makers, visitors, university students, investors and everyone interested in the energy, water, renewable energy, environment and sustainability sectors can build partnerships and trade relations, hold meetings and deals, and learn about market needs. The two exhibitions also offer a wide range of specialised seminars and workshops on the latest technologies and solutions in oil and gas, power generation using clean and renewable energy, as well as solar grids.

“Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA, WETEX has become an important forum for hosting experts and specialists from around the world on green economy, smart cities, innovation and sustainable development. We are working continuously to ensure that the two exhibitions maintain their role in supporting Dubai as an international hub for one of the most successful exhibitions specialised in energy, electricity, water, environment, oil and gas, renewable and clean energy; especially in light of the great expansion of renewable energy technologies in the UAE and the region,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show.

During the carbon-neutral exhibition, the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, DEWA will provide a 3D virtual stand for each exhibitor with their branding and screen to display videos. The stand will also display the company’s information, brochure, and presentations. This enables them to display their products to innovatively meet their needs. DEWA also allows up to three virtual exhibitors to log onto each stand for live chats with visitors. To create a live atmosphere, visitors and exhibitors can choose an interactive avatar to visit the platforms and participate in workshops, meetings, and seminars using the latest smart voice and video communication. Exhibiting companies can also use a meeting room dedicated for each platform, and communicate with experts through the free B2B and B2G service. Visitors and exhibitors can choose an interactive avatar to journey through the platform and participate in workshops, meetings and seminars, in addition to live chat and video conferencing.

WETEX and Dubai Solar Show 2020 will take place from 26 to 28 October 2020. Registration for WETEX and Dubai Solar Show 2020 can be done via the website ( https://www.wetex.ae/Registration )
