ArabFinance: Egypt launched an online portal on September 13th to receive all requests from those who want to volunteer for taking the coronavirus vaccine clinical trials, according to an official statement.

The Ministry of Health and Population posted all the terms and conditions for the volunteers on the new website, which will start receiving the requests later today.

Khaled Megahed, the ministry’s spokesman, said a day earlier that the vaccine experiment will be carried out in cooperation with the Holding Company for Biological Products and Vaccines (Vacsera), Abbasia Chest Hospital, and the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute.

Egypt has begun phase 3 of the coronavirus vaccine on September 12th.

Meanwhile, the country’s total infections reached 100,856 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
