Cement exports from Saudi Arabia fell 8.6 percent year-on-year to 682,000 tonnes in February 2023, Aljazira Capital said in its new report.
Local sales stood at 4.22 million last month, falling 1.4 percent year-on-year and 2.6 percent month-on-month.
Clinker inventories stood at 35.1 million tonnes in February, rising 1.6 percent year-on-year but remaining flat month-on-month.
The total utilisation rate of the cement sector in Saudi Arabia remained stable at 68.8 percent in February, falling 80 basis points year-on-year.
The sales-clinker production ratio stood at 106.3 percent last month, the report said.
