At a press conference yesterday, Nawras officially launched an innovative customer rewards program, called Nawras Rewards, as another first from the most customer friendly mobile operator in Oman.

The press conference was held at Second Cup, one of the Nawras Rewards partners, and was highlighting the growing advantages that Nawras customers can benefit from by being part of the Nawras 'circle'. The 'circle' of Nawras customers is growing at an outstandingly fast rate, and Nawras has already attracted more than 160,000 customers in only six months.

Speaking at the press conference Ross Cormack, Nawras Chief Executive Officer, commented, "By introducing a customer rewards program as the first mobile operator in Oman, we have created a program that gives extra value to our customers. Nawras has partnered with a variety of companies that offer superb quality products and services and who are eager to extend fabulous offers and discounts to Nawras customers."

To take advantage of these special offers, Nawras customers simply should send an SMS to the Nawras short-code 90095 with the keyword assigned to the relevant Nawras Rewards partner, and within seconds they are closer to fantastic privileges. As an example, by sending an SMS with the keyword PH1 assigned to Pizza Hut in Qurum, Muscat, the Nawras customer will receive an SMS response message indicating that he/she is eligible for the Nawras Rewards benefit. By showing this SMS to the staff at Pizza Hut in Qurum, the Nawras customer will receive the special Nawras offer agreed between Nawras and Pizza Hut. Currently the Nawras Rewards programs contains 13 partners at [45] locations, including Pizza Hut, Second Cup, Hardees, KFC, Kargeen Caffe, Bateel, Horizon Fitness, Oman Bowling Center, Americana Chicken Tikka, Sea Pearls Jewellery, The Golden Oryx Restaurant, Stargate DVD and Arab Digital Distribution. Each of the Nawras Rewards partners will have a display at the check-out counter, where customers pay their bills to highlight the Nawras Reward offer with that partner.

Nilly Al-Abdulsalam, Nawras Customer Relations Manager, added "We have worked very closely with our Nawras Rewards partners in order to deliver the best offers and discounts to our valued customers. We will continue to increase the number of Nawras Rewards partners in the future, in order to keep delivering fantastic privileges to our customers."
