ArabFinance: TUV NORD Egypt audited Orascom Development Management's (OHM) hotels in El Gouna and Taba Heights, confirming that the Hotels meet the international standards of sanitation and hygiene, according to OHM's July 8th statement.

This announcement came following the recently released governmental regulations allowing hotels that put in effect strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to operate with limited occupancy levels.

OHM, the hotel management subsidiary of Orascom Development Group, has recently unveiled its “Together We Can!” initiative, which features enhanced sanitation and hygiene protocols addressing the new normal post COVID-19.

The company has recently announced that its hotels are ready to welcome guests in El Gouna as of May 15 and Taba Heights as of May 21, 2020.

The hotels management arm of Orascom Development Group incorporated to drive profits by leveraging the group’s growing guest-room inventory, town infrastructure, and tourism expertise. The portfolio consists of 35 operating hotels, comprising a total of more than 7,000 guest rooms across five countries: Egypt, UAE, Montenegro, Oman, and Switzerland. Expansion plans include seven hotels in Montenegro, eight in Morocco, eight in Oman, three in Switzerland, and three in Egypt.
