ArabFinance: Egypt detected 113 new coronavirus infections, raising the total count to 102,254 since the outbreak of the pandemic, according to a September 22ndstatement.

The health ministry reported 19 more fatalities, bringing the death toll to 5,806.

The Arab republic has registered 91,143 total recoveries, after 811 new patients have been cured of the virus, the statement added.

Hossam Hosny, head of the health ministry's COVID-19 scientific committee, recently urged the citizens to remain adherent to preventative measures, maintain social distance, and put on face masks.
