The Ministry of Labour called on all private sector institutions and companies to commit to paying the wages of their workers on the dates referred to in Article 51 of the Labour Law

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has referred a private sector company to judicial authorities for not paying the wages of its employees.

The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Directorate General of Labour in Al-Dhahirah Governorate, has referred a private sector establishment to the judicial authorities for its non-compliance with paying the wages of its workers for varying months, and for its violation of the provisions of Articles No. (51 and 53) of the Labour Law.

The Ministry of Labour called on all private sector institutions and companies to commit to paying the wages of their workers on the dates referred to in Article 51 of the Labour Law.
