Deputy Premier and chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa launched the Housing Ministry’s latest ‘baity.bh’ electronic platform.

It is an interactive housing service that provides several options for citizens such as booking units, making reservation payments and learning about offers, standards and financing requirements of banks, especially those participating in the Mazaya programme.

Housing Minister Bassem Al Hamer briefed Shaikh Khalid on the latest developments in the provision of commercial services on plots owned by the Housing Bank in the new cities of Bahrain, and the bank’s plans to develop these plots to serve residents.

The minister also discussed the ‘Sharaka’ programme to develop government land, which is scheduled to provide 16,000 housing units over the next 10 years.
