Tunisia - The pharmaceutical industry will soon undergo radical changes, particularly in terms of legislation, including measures to grant medicine marketing authorisations, Health Minister Ali Mrabet said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a working session with members of the National Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry (CNIP), he stressed the need to restructure the pharmaceutical system. «It is among the priorities of the national health strategy," he noted.

CNIP president Tarak Hammami commended the level of bilateral cooperation. He stated the willingness to strengthen the partnership with the ministry in order to restructure the system in the interest of both citizens and producers.
