AMMAN — Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 738,860 passengers this March, recording a 31.6 per cent rise compared with 2022 figures, according to a statement from Airport International Group (AIG).

The QAIA also recorded 6,179 aircraft movements and 5,603 tonnes of cargo, marking increases of 21.7 per cent and 3.2 per cent, respectively, compared with 2022 figures.

“We're pleased to see that the expansion of the QAIA's networks through the addition of new airlines and destinations has yielded positive results in our traffic, demonstrating the value and strength of our partnerships with various industry players in enhancing the regional and global connectivity of the QAIA while elevating the customer experience for passengers traveling via Jordan's prime gateway to the world,” commented the AIG CEO, Nicolas Claude.
