Jordan makes no purchase in tender for 120,000 tonnes barley

HAMBURG- * Jordan's state grain buyer made no purchase in an international tender for 120,000 tonnes of feed barley which closed on Tuesday, traders said

* Three trading houses took part: Cerealcom Dolj, GTCS and Ameropa, they said

* Jordan has had difficulty making purchases in a series of wheat and barley tenders in recent months. Participation has been reduced because of worry about quality specifications and payment terms

* Jordan made no purchase in its previous tenders for barley on July 11, July 4, June 26 and June 12
