COVID-19: Egypt records 644 new cases

REUTERS/Amr Abdallah DalshArabFinance: The health ministry in Egypt announced 644 new coronavirus cases on February 24th, raising the total count to 180,051 since the pandemic started in 2020.
52 new deaths were reported, while the death toll hit 10,495.
Egypt currently has 139,072 total recoveries after 389 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.
The number of daily cases in the country has been below 1,000 marks since January 9th.
