The Iraqi government will rehabilitate 15 hospitals in Baghdad as per discussions between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, and the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi.

Abdul Zahra Al -Hindawi, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Planning told Zawya Projects that with the Iraqi government putting high priority on health and welfare of citizens, it was decided at the meeting, which was also the Governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al -Atta, to fast track the rehabilitation of 15 hospitals in the capital.

The ministers also discussed financial allocations needed to kick-start the rehabilitation project, Al-Hindawi said.
