Muscat - Mint & Coco, one of Muscat’s newest and most promising eateries, situated in Salam building, is a place where people can gather, take a breath, and enjoy the moment, with great food. Founded by Loaya Al Maamari, a young entrepreneur passionate about good food and great vibes, the eatery offers a deliciously fresh take on dinning.

“Mint & Coco is more than just a restaurant. My vision was to create a space for people to get together, to forget about their hectic day, to pause, and experience the joy of being with loved ones, friends, and colleagues. We’ve done everything with love and those who walk through our doors will notice it in the details. From our super friendly staff, our comfy modern furniture, our delectable food and the global and local merchandise nothing has been overlooked. We are incredibly excited to welcome each guest to the cafe.” said Loaya Al Maamari Owner of Mint & Coco.

From its well-crafted breakfast and lunch menu to nibbles and main courses for dinner, the eatery has taken off as vibrant local eatery where its foundation is good food. With a diverse staff that continues to add its own flavour and support of local business, the eatery’s plush and bright ambiance, combined with an enticing menu helps to create a one-of-a-kind cafe. Besides serving food, the cafe also offers a specialty coffee menu for even the most peculiar of coffee lover.

“We believe in allowing people to eat drink and shop local, which is one reason why we want to collaborate and support other entrepreneurs and local businesses,” said Al Maamari. “We have teamed up with a handful of other brands and created a space for their products in the restaurant which has been met with great enthusiasm.”

Since 2013, the Sultanate has put an emphasis on developing the SME sector. With over 32,000 SMEs registered in Oman contributing to 15% of the national GDP, Omani entrepreneurs are stepping up to deliver something new. When it comes to the food and beverage industry, entrepreneurs are taking risks to try and bring fresh and profitable options to the market.
