DUBAI, UAE – McDonald’s UAE was recently recognized for excellence in the Service of Consumer Protection by Dubai Economy (DE). The recognition was received by Rafic Fakih, Managing Director and Partner at McDonald’s UAE, and presented by Ahmad Al Zaabi, Director of Consumer Rights Department, Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection Sector at the DE headquarters in Dubai.
McDonald’s UAE was recognized for its continual efforts and achievement in managing customer welfare by the way of transparency, hospitality and by constantly catering to their needs.
McDonald’s is committed to giving back to the communities it operates in and is a strong champion of complete transparency. As part of these efforts, the company has put several programs in place, including its Open Door initiative, which gives customers the right to take a tour of their kitchen and witness how their favorite meals are prepared while adhering to the strict McDonald’s standards for hygiene and food safety. In line with their commitment to transparency, McDonald’s’ online “your right to know” platform also allows consumers to ask any questions they have.
