NUHAS; the first local manufacturer for oxygen free copper busbar and magnetic copper wire in UAE is under construction in the industrial city of Abu Dhabi (ICAD 3).
Oxygen free copper busbar is used mainly inside the electrical distribution and control panels as an electrical conductor, and the magnetic copper wire is used for transformers winding and motors rewinding.
Mr. Hamza Aljohi, the Managing Director of NUHAS said that "the plant serves the needs of many industrial companies engaged in the field of Switchgear, Transformers, Busduct systems and other industries".
As per the market study and assessment, the market for copper busbar and magnetic copper wires reached AED 1.1 Billion in 2012 in UAE, with annual growth rate of 4%.
Mr. Aljohi said also, "The plant is expected to start the production on April, 2014 with a production capacity of 20,000 Metric ton of oxygen free copper products".
NUHAS production facilities and office complex spread over an area of 30,000 Square meters in Abu Dhabi using state of art technology to tackle the modern solutions in copper industry.
