Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) successfully organized a series of training programs that have been designed to help provide engineering maintenance management employees with the essential knowledge and experience needed to ensure the best use of state-of-the-art technology systems and effective application of international standards and best practices in line with the directives issued by the Dubai government. The training programs, which complement the government's continuing efforts to build human resources capable of sustaining leadership, attracted large participation from employees who were given the opportunity to learn more about the latest advanced innovations and computerized techniques in the field of vehicle structure inspection, welding operations and periodic maintenance. Helping facilitate the program were experts coming from leading companies like Arwani Trading Company LLC, German-Gulf Enterprises Ltd and Ashok Leyland.
H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director, explained that the programs represent DGW's keenness towards creating frameworks and guidelines that allow them to be at pace with the country's efforts to develop a future government that helps achieve customer happiness, which is one of the top goals of the UAE. He noted that the workshops are part of DGW's vision of providing a supportive environment that looks to further develop national human resources, in order to keep abreast of accelerated technological transformation and harnessing its high potential to help adopt a culture of excellence in government work.
"These training programs present an ideal opportunity to enhance the skills of our employees in line with the move to achieve technological development. The outlines of these programs have been created in collaboration with leading companies to improve the capacity, productivity and performance of our human resources--serving our vision of 'Safe vehicles and pioneering services.' The success of this initiative has encouraged us to continue in the efforts to invest in human resources, which is the cornerstone for translating these aspirations in line with the directives of the wise leadership to develop, qualify and train our human resources as the primary reason for achieving the leadership of the Government of Dubai," Al Raeesi concluded.
