Continuous professional development to support technology within schools
Promethean in association with Almoe Digital Solutions, the exclusive distributor of Promethean in the U.A.E, awards the International School of Creative Science in Sharjah with the Promethean Centre of Excellence accreditation, recognizing the school for becoming one of only nine Promethean Centres of Excellence in the Middle East.
The award follows the schools achievement in building an interactive education environment aimed at maximizing their students learning outcomes. Promethean accredits Centres of Excellence to schools that actively encourage the development and application of diverse learning environments, through the use of technology within the classroom.

The school was awarded the Promethean Centre of Excellence accreditation following an assessment by the Promethean Education Accreditation Committee. The school is awarded with the accreditation for one year, with the school and teachers being continuously supported with development through training sessions. The importance of training is to ensure that teachers are enabled with the latest teaching techniques, and that a process of knowledge share between educators continues. There are currently Nine Promethean Centres of Excellence in the Middle East with two in process to be accredited by the end of 2012.
