Abu Dhabi, 15 April 2014: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has announced the expansion of its distribution network with the opening of its 78th branch in the UAE, in the Al Gayathi area in the western region. This brings the number of ADIB branches in Abu Dhabi's western region to 8.

This new branch reflects the bank's commitment to making its services as accessible as possible to its growing customer base in the UAE of 600,000 customers.

It demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with cutting-edge access and exceptional service to simplify their financial lives. ADIB posted a 20.7% increase in net profits to AED 1,450.2 million in 2013, and its total assets surpassed AED 100 billion for the first time. Its record financial performance was supported by growth in retail lending of 20.6% and in deposits of 23.2%.

ADIB has the third largest retail network in the UAE with a total of 78 branches and more than 600 ATMs. The bank was recently named best Islamic bank in the Middle East and best Islamic bank in the UAE by Euromoney magazine, and the award was recognition of the bank's focus on customer service making it the number one bank in customer services in the UAE.
