The Ramadan Nights Festival, organised by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, concluded on 6 May.

The festival was held at the North Cairo Wall Theater on Al-Moez Street and at a number of sites across Cairo from 12to 24 Ramadan. It included many cultural activities, as well as a number of artistic performances.

The Culture Palaces presented a distinct programme for children, including workshops for drawing with various materials. This was in addition to artistic performances, puppet theatre performances, children’s cinema shows, storytelling workshops, competitions, and games.

The authority also organised environmental craft workshops and art exhibitions for plastic arts, as well as fairs for women and youth culture products. Also on the programme was the “Memory of the Nation” exhibition, presenting Egyptian divs and symbols, among many other exhibits.
