Over the past few years, 12 cloud-seeding stations across the Sultanate of Oman have contributed to enhancing the amount of rainfall by 15-18 per cent across various govern orates.

“The Sultanate of Oman has succeeded in the process of artificial seeding technology, with 12 cloud-seeding stations currently having contributed to enhancing rainfall amounts over the past years by 15-18 per cent and covering the water deficit estimated at 316 million cubic meters each year,” Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources said.
