KUWAIT CITY: Speaking of the local hires, which the Ministry of Education has opened electronically (online) for male and female teachers, an educational source told the daily it does not sign contracts with any expatriate teacher except after an undertaking in which he/she undertakes to verify the authenticity of educational qualification and certificate of experience, and he/she bears legal responsibility in the event of submitting false/forged documents, reports Al-Rai daily.

The appointment will be effective only when the cultural attaché in the certificate issuing country verifies the authenticity of the relevant certificates. The source said that the law of equivalence of certificates is still suspended and the ministry will appoint teachers in the local and external contracts, according to the previous mechanism, with taking written pledges to them.
