Muscat: Switzerland has decided to remove Oman from the list of countries that require the mandatory quarantine upon arrival, starting from September 7.

“The countries and areas with a high risk of infection are set down in the Covid-19 Ordinance on International Passenger Transport Measures. This list is regularly updated,” Swiss health authorities said on Monday.

“As of September 7, 2020, Belgium, El Salvador, Eswatini (Swazsiland), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Mexico and Oman are no longer in the list,” the statement added.
