SOHAR -- Sohar University announced the appointment of its new Pro-Vice Chancellor for Resources Dr Hamdan Al Fazari. Dr Hamdan holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering & Systems from the National Institute of Applied Science (INSA), Toulouse in France and a Master Business Administration Degree in Aerospace Management from Toulouse Business School in France. Dr Al Fazari has an established record of experience in Engineering, Business and Leadership and eight years' experience in education and academic leadership. Dr Al Fazari will be a member of Sohar University Executive Management team and will be in charge of the following departments at Sohar University; Human Resource, Finance, Purchasing and Contracts, Estate and Information Technology Services. Dr Al Fazari said.
"I am very delighted to join Sohar University which is the first private university in Oman. My position in Sohar University is a new challenge in my life which I am looking forward to step into it in order to make Sohar University the leading University in Oman and a top Omani education exporter. I hope that my experience, knowledge and skills will be of great value to Sohar University and will be an inspiration to the staff and students".
