In order to activate systems integration

Abu Dhabi, 22 February 2016

Abu Dhabi Pension Fund and the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) signed a cooperation agreement on the exchange of information, aiming to enhance communication and cooperation between the two parties in order to achieve common objectives that serve the interests of the State.

H.E. Mohamed Saif Al-Hameli, GPSSA Acting Director General and H.E. Khalaf Abdulla Rahma Al Hammadi, Director General of the Fund, signed the agreement document during  the agreement signing ceremony that was held at GPSSA's headquarters in Abu Dhabi on the morning of the 22nd of February 2016.

H.E. Khalaf Abdullah Rahma Al Hammadi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, said: "This type of cooperation strengthens the relations and joint work between the two parties and aims to provide distinguished services; in addition, such exchange of information enhances the position of the Fund and GPSSA among service oriented entities in the UAE".

His Excellency added: "The Agreement is based on principles that ensure streamlined continuity of work with higher accuracy of information as a result to data integration and exchange of information. The agreement also comes in line with the objectives of the two parties that focus on community service and implementing the directives of our wise leadership in providing a decent life for all members of society in our beloved Country."

For his part, H.E. Mohamed Saif Al-Hameli, GPSSA Acting Director General, expressed his contentment for signing the agreement, and said that the electronic integration with the Fund enhances the capabilities of the two parties and helps them to meet quality requirements in the provision of services, in line with the Smart Government vision and strategy, stressing that GPSSA is keen on building bridges of cooperation and coordination with all entities in the UAE to serve the public in a way that meets the government's ambitions to please the UAE citizens.

The agreement is based on the electronic integration between the systems of the two parties in order to take advantage of the data of the insured, retirees, beneficiaries and employers registered at the two entities, so as to facilitate the exchange of information and ensure the smooth and streamlined progress of work, in a way that enhances the performance of both parties to serve the community and do what is best for the interests of the State.
