Iraq buys 120,000 tonnes of U.S. rice in closed tender -traders

DUBAI- Iraq has bought 120,000 tonnes of rice from the United States in a closed tender, traders said on Sunday.

Iraq purchased 90,000 tonnes from ADM and 30,000 tonnes from Supreme, the traders said.

Iraq's trade ministry had issued a tender to purchase at least 30,000 tonnes of rice supplied from the United States only.
