Property developer Azizi Developments announced on Thursday that it has facilitated the transaction of the first-ever Dubai property sold and registered to an Israeli buyer since the normalisation of ties between the UAE and Israel.

In a statement, Azizi said the buyer had acquired a one-bedroom residential unit in Creek Views II, Dubai Healthcare City recently.

It said that the property was the first to be officially listed to an Israeli buyer at the Dubai Land Department.

“We are delighted… to be the first to officially register an Israeli national as a property buyer. This registration… is a truly monumental move that we are proud to facilitate,” Azizi said.

The developer, under CEO Farhad Azizi, has courted Israeli buyers by adding the country to its fly-in  programme in October 2020, under which it provides accommodation and tour packages to potential investors.

The Abraham Accords, normalising relations between the UAE and Israel, were signed in August 2020.
