Egypt - Fawry for Banking and Payment Technology Services – (FWRY) ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved the distribution of EGP 0.28 per share worth of dividends, according to a June 1st disclosure sent to the Egyptian Exchange.

On May 31st, the company's OGM approved the financial results and dividends for 2019.

The company posted a net consolidated profit of EGP 130,388,639 in 2019, compared to EGP 69,239,864 in the corresponding year.

Standalone profit stood at EGP 106,684,666 in 2019, a 50% climb from EGP 71,192,665 in 2018.

Fawry is an Egypt-based company that provides an electronic payment network. The company allows users to pay bills in multiple channels, such as online, using automated teller machine (ATMs), mobile wallets, and retail points.
