Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Crowne Plaza Dubai is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Shailesh Kumar as the new Director of Engineering.
Mr. Shailesh Kumar brings over 20 years of outstanding experience in the hospitality industry across hotel projects within the Marriott and the Oberoi group of companies in India. His most recent posting was as Director of Engineering at J.W. Marriott Mumbai Sahar, a 585 room property, the largest of the Marriott properties in India.
Mr. Kumar has been integral in numerous hotel projects from pre-opening, operation through to renovation. Mr. Kumar began his career as an Engineering Technician with The Oberoi’s Trident in Jaipur in 1997 and progressively grew through the ranks to Director of Engineering in 2008 at the Goa Marriott Resort.
With a 20-year career in the hospitality industry; extensive knowledge and experience of renovation and refurbishment, Director of Engineering Mr. Kumar is a key asset to the Crowne Plaza Dubai, which celebrates its twenty-fourth anniversary in May this year.
