Dubai: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Tuesday said it had granted Shuaa Capital International Ltd a licence to serve as market-maker on the exchange.

The number of registered market-makers on ADX now stands at three, with the other two being National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Al Ramz Capital, the bourse said in a statement.

Rashed Al Blooshi, ADX chief executive, said: “This new market-maker licence builds on our recent achievements, and is aimed at diversifying the services provided to both companies and investors. It is also in line with our strategy of attracting and activating a wider range of investors which comes as part of ADX commitment to Abu Dhabi plan, through improving the investment climate in the emirate and creating a business environment that is both competitive and flexible.”
