COVID-19: Egypt records 623 new cases

REUTERS/Amr Abdallah DalshArabFinance: The health ministry in Egypt announced 623 new coronavirus cases on February 22nd, raising the total count to 178,774 since the pandemic started in 2020.
51 new deaths were reported, while death toll hit 10,404.
Egypt currently has 138,183 total recoveries after 346 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.
The number of daily cases in the country has been below the 1,000 mark since January 9th.
