The European Union's exports to the Sultanate of Oman are close to $3 billion, Trading Economics Research Foundation, said. The most important exports being machinery and boilers, electrical and electronic equipments, vehicles and pharmaceuticals.

New statistics confirmed by the New York-based Trading Economics Research Foundation that the European Union's exports to the Sultanate of Oman amount to about $2.87 billion annually, according to data available from the United Nations International Trade database for the month of February 2023.

It indicated that the most important exports of the European Union to the Sultanate of Oman are machinery and boilers with a value of $584.72 million, followed by electrical and electronic equipment with a value of $281.31 million, followed by vehicles with a value of $273.33 million, followed by pharmaceutical products with a value of $242.29 million, followed by dairy products, eggs, honey, and other foodstuffs with a value of 193.18 million dollars.

The value of the Sultanate of Oman's imports from the European Union amounted to $158.89 million in optical devices, and $136.92 million in aircraft and spacecraft.

According to the statistics, the United States acquired the largest share of the European Union's exports, with a value of $464.07 billion, or 19 percent of total exports, followed by Britain, with 13 percent, and China with 11 percent.
