Six leading global energy infrastructure groups have expressed interest in providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for Tatweer Petroleum Associated Gas Compression Project Phase 7 in Bahrain.
The key bidders are Petrofac, Enerflex Middle East; Wasco Engineering International Limited; Woodlands Energy Services Company; Jereh Oil&Gas Engineering Corporation and TDE Overseas.
As per the tender notification, Tatweer Petroleum, Bahrain is undertaking a field development project to increase oil and associated gas production in the Bahrain Oil Field.
The Phase 7 project will see the installation of three new compression stations to increase the field’s total compression capacity and for enhanced oil recovery purposes.
Following the project completion, the associated gas production is projected to increase to volumes that need to be accommodated by the associated gas handling network, it stated.
The scope of work includes design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of three compression stations - CS12, CS13, & CS14, it added.
