Abu Dhabi-based investment company Q Holding has awarded a 470 million UAE dirham ($127.96 million) infrastructure and road development contract to National Project Construction (NPC), a subsidiary of Trojan Construction Group, for the first phase of Reem Hills on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

NPC will build and deliver the power, water, sewerage, telecommunication and gas networks for the development, in addition to the internal roads, islands and canal formation, Q Holding said in a statement.

Helmy Naji, General Manager at NPC, said the company is committed to delivering the infrastructure and roads for Reem Hills phase one to the highest quality and within the agreed timeline.

In February, Q Properties, a unit of Q Holding, said that all available homes in its recently-launched phase of Reem Hills, an AED 8 billion ($2.2 billion) gated community, have been sold out.
