The 2010 Women in Business conference promises to deliver another rich programme of inspirational international female role models with today's announcement of three confirmed speakers for the conference taking place on 23-24 March 2010. The conference is organised by Envent, a leading public relations, events management and marketing communications consultancy and organisers of the conference, under the patronage of HH Sayyida Aliya Bint Thuwaini Al Said.  The theme of 2010 Women in Business conference is 'Changing the Face of Business - Women as an Economic Force'.

The speakers confirmed today are Angelika Renate Storz-Chakarji, the German Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman; Ashley Hunter, President HM Risk Group and Lydia Roux founder Gauteng Talent Management Solutions, a highly regarded business school with branches across South Africa.

Angelika Storz-Chakarji became the German Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman in 2009. She has 30 years of experience in the diplomatic service with positions held in the Federal Foreign Office, German Embassies in Paris and Tokyo as well as at the German Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.

Ashley Hunter is the President of HM Risk Group based in Texas, USA.  The organisation specializes in insurance and the risk management needs for commercial contractors and developers as well as self-employed startup business owners.  The organization currently focuses on business located in the Middle East region.  Ms Hunter will also be speaking the 11th Annual Global Businesswomen and Leaders Summit.

Lydia Roux is the founder of Gauteng Talent Management Solutions, a respected business school that focuses on the development of leadership skills and the empowerment of women in business.  She has hosted various radio talk shows and regularly appears on South African television speaking about issues facing women in business.  She was a finalist in the Mrs South African Business Executive of the Year award for outstanding entrepreneurship and business acumen as well as being nominated for the Checkers/SABC2 Woman of the Year Award in 2004.
