Amman, May 6, 2013 -TAJ lifestyle center announced that TAJ Cinemas, the largest cinema complex in Jordan, has officially opened its doors to the public as of Thursday May 2nd, 2013 setting a new benchmark for entertainment in Jordan.
Located on Terrace 2, TAJ Cinemas is spread over 7000 m² and seats a total of 1700 people through its 16 theatre multiplex that includes 12 regular theatres and 4 VIP halls. TAJ Cinemas is the first to introduce the latest in high-tech services to movie-goers such as an online ticketing function to avoid queues, e-kiosks to purchase movie tickets with credit or debit cards, and a mobile application for purchasing movie tickets and to gain access to everything happening at the cinema.

TAJ Cinemas is also introducing the very first VIP theatres, better known as TAJ Class, that have a capacity of 113 VIP seats with fully reclining leather armchairs and butler service. All four VIP theatres are equipped with the latest in cutting-edge technology such as 4K projectors capable of a dazzling 8 million megapixel and the latest cinema sound conception ever released known as Dolby Atmos 7.1, which is also a first in Jordan.
