New HP Business Notebook PC delivers value and choice of AMD's latest processor technologies to Small and Medium Businesses

Dubai, UAE, Aug 01, 2006 - HP today introduced the HP 3-in-1 NAS Docking Station designed for the company's business notebook PCs, a robust "all-in-one" solution including Network Attached Storage (NAS) for data backup, recovery and file and device sharing in addition to all the conveniences of docking solutions.

HP also announced the HP Compaq nx6325 Notebook PC, offering small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) an affordable yet powerful mobile office based on AMD's 64-bit dual core processor(1) technology.

The HP 3-in-1 NAS Docking Station offers a desktop-like experience for HP business notebook PC users requiring robust docking capabilities, convenient data backup and recovery and easy-to-manage file and device sharing that makes information accessible when and where users need it.

This new HP 3-in-1 NAS Docking Station incorporates key desktop-like ergonomics and expandability features such as port replication, cable management, security and a variety of ports. Two network USB ports on the HP 3-in-1 NAS Docking Station enable printers, scanners or other devices to be shared across the network. Additionally, the product features six USB ports as well as MultiBay II and ExpressCard slots for future expansion. An integrated 160GB SATA hard drive is accessible as a network drive for secure and reliable data backup and recovery. HP's Backup and Recovery Manager software allows for easy-to-use backup to prevent data loss and reduce potential downtime. The HP 3-in-1 NAS Docking Station also delivers convenient and secure file sharing via an embedded NAS Configuration Utility.

Designed with SMBs in mind, the HP Compaq nx6325 Notebook PC offers outstanding value and a choice of AMD's latest processor technologies AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology(1) and AMD Mobile Sempron technology. Powerful dual core processor (1) technology enables users to run multiple intensive programs simultaneously to accomplish more in less time.

Balancing mobility and productivity, this thin-and-light notebook also offers a variety of connectivity solutions, a selection of extended life batteries, docking solutions and next-generation ATI graphics. The optional double-layer DVD+/-RW with LightScribe technology gives users twice the storage of a single layer disc and allows them to burn custom labels directly to the disc.(2,3,4) The nx6325 also includes a 7-in-1 media reader allowing users to quickly share data via the most popular media card formats.
