Kuwait City: KIPCO – Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) – was the Strategic Sponsor of the 10th Youth Empowerment Symposium (Tmkeen). KIPCO has been one of the symposium’s main sponsors and supporters since 2015, and the partnership extends to the KIPCO Tmkeen Award for Young Entrepreneurs which has supported many startups in their transformation into sustainable businesses.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms Eman Al Awadhi, KIPCO’s Senior Vice President – Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, said:

“We are delighted to be here tonight to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Tmkeen Symposium, which provides a platform for young people to be inspired by the stories of local and international business leaders. We are proud of the successes of our award finalists and winners, many of whom have expanded their presence beyond Kuwait, to the GCC and the Arab world.”

The two-day conference brings together local, regional and international business leaders, who share their stories with the audience with the aim of inspiring them to pursue their own passion and establish businesses that will contribute to the growth of the local economy.
