Muscat : In line with its efforts to enhance community engagement, Oman Investment and Finance Company "Khedmah" has renewed its collaboration with the Oman Charity Organization to provide financial support for a number of initiatives implemented by the Organization within the Sultanate. This agreement is part of Khedmah's social responsibility initiatives to drive social and economic development, and expand cooperation with charities that seek to assist individuals and families in need.

Under the terms agreed upon, the Oman Charity Organization will disburse this contribution to the support programs determined by the Organization in accordance with the requirements it specifies, which include providing support to a number of families in the Sultanate and a number of emergency cases that require support.

Commenting on the collaboration, Mr. Said bin Ahmed Safrar, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Investment and Finance Company "Khedmah"”, said, “We at “Khedmah” believe in the important role of charitable institutions and organizations. They play a huge role in advancing sustainable development within local communities, and empowering individuals and families to achieve a balance between the various segments of society. Albeit, ‘Khedmah’ is committed to renewing and expanding our cooperation with different organizations to provide beneficial initiatives to support those in need. As part of our corporate social responsibility objectives, and supported by the company's board of directors and employees, we work to instill community values at all times, and this agreement comes in recognition of the great role played by the Oman Charity Organization in supporting such initiatives and helping insolvent cases.”

From his side, Mr. Mohammed bin Humood bin Saeed Al-Dhuhli, CEO of the Oman Charity Organization, stated, “The Oman Charity Organization is always focused on working to provide support and assistance to the beneficiaries under the terms and rules of the Organization. We always engage in mutually beneficial partnerships with various community private and public sector institutions to support charitable and effective efforts in the fields of social responsibility. Such partnerships ensure efforts are the main drive for the continuation of charitable work, and we commend organizations such as ‘Khedmah’ for their dedication and community-driven work.”

“Khedmah” has been the Sultanate's leading billing and Collection Company for four decades, providing a central point for customers to pay all utility bills through its network of 68 branches covering various governorates and states of the Sultanate, in addition to ATMs spread around the Sultanate, as well as its electronic platforms such as the “Khedmah” application and website.
