Dedicates collection to style icon Peter Sellers
Dubai, 16 November 2004: Brioni, the premier Italian fashion house and widely considered to be one of the leading fashion icons in the world, today announced the launch of its Fall/Winter 2004 collection for men in the UAE. The collection has been inspired by the many characters played by classic actor, Peter Sellers who is an icon of a style that is both classic and provocative.
A mix of the traditional and modern is evident in Brioni's overcoats, cabans, trench coats and bomber jackets especially designed for the season. Brioni men's wardrobe for Fall/ Winter 2004 is exclusively available at Brioni boutique in Dubai InterContinental Plaza.

The Overcoat is slated to be a must wear for this winter. Brioni's style in coats is available in a cashmere or guanaco exterior with lining in cognac- coloured chinchilla or coordinated with a regimental style blazer in pure cashmere in addition to the reversible version. Brioni won the first of its seven Caswell Massey Awards in New York for the reversible cashmere and astrakan model. This model was chosen by Peter Sellers himself in the seventies while filming Being There.
The Caban, a street style jacket with Brioni's sense of classic elegance is another essential garment for the season. The caban is actually two detachable jackets in one. The external caban has a double layer; one is made of storm system treated nylon while the other layer is of waterproof silk. The double caban teams well with Brioni's pin striped suits.
The Brioni Micro Bomber has a marron glace-coloured silk exterior while the interior has a detachable lining in natural shaved fur. The micro bomber is a cult garment of the eighties which has been redesigned by Brioni making it more practical and contemporary.
The micro bomber's collar is detachable and reversible with leather on one side and fur on the other.
The trench coat unveiled as part of Brioni's Fall/Winter collection is a traditional knee-length trench coat made of storm system treated cavalry twill while its interior lining is made of brick-coloured calf's leather.
The Brioni collection for Fall/Winter 2004 comprising jackets, trousers, knitwear and shirts come in several shades like orange, mandarin, a range of warm browns and rust.
