Huge air-conditioned tent brings live action of Euro 2008 along with fantastic entertainment

Sharjah: Living up to Al Qasba's motto of providing the best entertainment, the popular family and tourist destination brings Euro 2008 in a comfortable, huge air-conditioned tent for football fans to catch the live action this season. The live telecast that began on June 7 will run until the Euro 2008 finals on June 29.

Football fans are in for a real treat as the large tent with a sitting capacity of 500 people hosts the viewing arena, with a show stage area, where families can also enjoy live entertainment shows, competitions and fantastic prizes.

The interior of the tent, designed along the lines of a stadium, supports the electrifying atmosphere created by the action in the field as the world's largest Plasma screens relay live matches direct from the actual location. Adults and children can equally enjoy the event as on offer is a judicious mix of entertaining activities concocted for different age groups such as face painting, play station tournaments, goal keeper game and much more.

Majid Al Suwaidi, events coordinator of Al Qasba Development Authority said, "Thanks to the brilliant concept that would provide all sports enthusiasts with a window of opportunity of being involved in this landmark sporting event. The tent is attracting people of all nationalities and demographic group. The ambience that has been created at the tent is like witnessing a real live match, and we have no doubt this is proved to be one of the most charged and exciting live events to be shared on screen."

Foodies can enjoy a wide variety of food and beverages made available for those who want to enjoy their game while munching on delicacies.

Hunyadi, the main sponsor of the world-class sport event completed their final official Euro 2008 Bus Tour at Al Qasba after traveling across several countries and important cities. The Al Qasba Euro 2008 tent has been sponsored by Etisalat and Bridgestone (Nasser Abdulatif Al Sarkal).
