Egypt: Goldentex’s consolidated profits skyrocket 3,333% YoY in 2022

Egypt - Golden Textiles and Clothes Wool’s (Goldentex) consolidated net profits after tax and non-controlling interest hiked 3,333.2% year on year (YoY) to EGP 47.99 million in 2022, compared to EGP 1.4 million, the firm stated in a financial report sent to the bourse on March 19th.

Revenues recorded EGP 366.19 million last year, up 83.2% from EGP 199.86 million in the previous year.

Standalone net profits after tax saw a 2,395.8% year-on-year hike to EGP 48.38 million in 2022, versus EGP 1.94 million.

Standalone revenues rose 83.2% to EGP 366.19 million in 2022 from EGP 199.86 million in 2021.
