Ramadan timings for health centres and Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) have been announced.

The Health Ministry said that the SMC outpatient clinics will be open from 8am until noon for new medical consultations only, while patients with follow-up appointments will be contacted by the medical staff.Other clinics at SMC will work from 2.15pm until 5pm.

On Friday, Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, visiting hours at SMC will be from 8pm to 10pm, with visits to patients in the intensive care, cardiac and burns units permitted between 8pm and 9pm.

“During Ramadan, SMC outpatient pharmacy for controlled prescriptions will work from 8am until 1.30pm while regular prescriptions and prescriptions for extended hours will continue from 8am until 5pm,” said a ministry statement.

Follow-up

“The oncology pharmacy’s working hours will be from 8am until 2pm while the emergency department and inpatient pharmacy will operate round-the-clock.

”As regards the delivery of follow-up prescriptions, medications will be delivered to patients within 48 hours from the time the request is received.Meanwhile, the Muharraq Health Centre, the Hamad Kanoo Health Centre and the Yousif Abdulrahman Engineer Health Centre will operate round-the-clock.

“The Mohammed Jassim Kanoo Health Centre – in Hamad Town roundabout 17 – will operate from 8am to 11pm seven days a week,” added the statement.

“The working hours at Shaikh Salman Health Centre in Muharraq will be from 8am until 2pm except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Vaccinations

“In addition, the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccinations will be provided at all health centres daily from 8am until 4pm in accordance with the dates recorded for vaccination.”

The following health centres will be working from 8am until 7pm except on Friday and Saturday:

The National Bank of Bahrain Centre, Arad; the National Bank of Bahrain Centre, Dair; the BBK Centre, Hidd; Halat Bu Maher Health Centre, Naim Health Centre, Hoora Health Centre, Ibn Sina Health Centre, Shaikh Sabah Al Salem Health Centre, Bilad Al Qadeem Health Centre, Shaikh Jaber Al Sabah Health Centre, Jidhafs Health Centre, A’ali Health Centre, Isa Town Health Centre, East Riffa Health Centre, Ahmed Ali Kanoo Health Centre, Sitra Health Centre, Askar and Jaw Clinic, Budaiya Health Centre, Budaiya Coastal Clinic, Kuwait Health Centre in Karzakan, Hamad Town Health Centre and Zallaq Health Centre.
