RIYADH — Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said that it is now possible for all residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to perform Umrah on an electronic visit visa to the Kingdom, without the requirement for any specific profession.

Al-Rabeeah said that all expatriates in the GCC countries and their first-degree relatives with a three-month valid Gulf residency permit and six-month valid passport can visit Makkah and Madinah to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque.

He said that groups of GCC residents can apply for online visit visas to perform Umrah through the Saudi Rouh platform, with a fee of SR300 plus a medical insurance fee. They can have single and multiple entry visas to perform Umrah rituals, pray in the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque, as well as to visit all cities across the Kingdom, including historical sites, in addition to attending tourist activities.
