Health Ministry, SOS cooperate to provide healthcare services to foreigners in Egypt

Egyptian Health Ministry signed a cooperation protocol with International SOS to provide healthcare services for foreign patients, according to a statement by the ministry on January 30th.

International SOS is a UK-based health and security risk management firm.

The protocol was signed on the sidelines of the Arab Health 2023 in Dubai, in presence of Egyptian Minister of Health Khalid Abdul Ghaffar.

As per the protocol, SOS will train medical teams on air medical evacuation, crisis and disaster management from an international perspective, as well as dealing with international patients affiliated with international organizations, and mining and oil companies of various nationalities.
