Egyptian state-owned Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) Company will launch a 2,000-feddan industrial city within the coming months, Chairman Khaled Abbas told Asharq Business on February 28th.

Abbas noted that the project’s designs are expected to be completed in the second half of the current year, adding that the targeted activities of the industrial city will be offered to investors after deciding upon them.

Located around 45 kilometers east of Cairo, the New Administrative Capital has been under development since 2015, with the aim of establishing a smart city and attracting foreign investments.
