ArabFinance: Rowad Misr Tourism Investment (RMTV) incurred a consolidated net loss attributable to the parent of EGP 18.90 million in the January-September period of 2021, down from EGP 44.54 million in the prior-year period, according to the companys financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, the company turned to profitability with a net profit attributable to the parent of EGP 8.12 million, versus a profit of EGP 14.48 million in Q3 2020.

Meanwhile, the company incurred a standalone net loss after tax of EGP 8.07 million in the first nine months of 2021, versus a loss of EGP 24.66 million in the same period of 2020.

Rowad is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the tourism industry.

The company is engaged in tourism development and construction activities, namely ownership, construction, leasing, and management of hotels and touristic resorts.
